Tyre Dealer Continues Expansion

Malmö/Hanover, 19.03.2002. The Hanover-based tyre dealer continues its expansion to other European countries as planned. Since the beginning of March, the first professional Internet tyre supplier is selling tyres in Sweden at its newly opened online shop: www.dackonline.net. "We have been receiving many orders on our German website from Sweden. Up until now our Swedish customers had to order from our English website www.tyresonline.net. Prices were calculated in Euro, delivered to Sweden. Now prices are displayed in Swedish Krona, and the tyres are delivered to an address of your own choice", explained Delticom Managing Director Dr. Andreas Prüfer (38). To date, Delticom has established its proven shop system in the entire German-speaking area, as well as in the UK and in the Netherlands. With this development, the company opens its first shop in Scandinavia. Further expansion to other European countries is being planned. End of February the company's Business to Business website went online (www.probanden.nl) in Holland.

In Sweden, Delticom offers the same extensive range of 40 tyre brands and more than 10.000 tyre types as in the other tyre shops. Prices are attractive: Delticom sells its tyres up to 25 percent lower than competitors, including shipping costs. The website offers an easy and comfortable ordering process, and test results help customers to decide which tyre type suits their needs best. In addition, the order processing can be followed online at any time.

Also available is a tyre fitting service. To date, Delticom has registered about 1600 service partners. "Swedish tyre fitters are welcome to register their services free of charge", underlined Rainer Binder (44), Managing Director of Delticom.
