www.reifendirekt.de now TÜVcertifiedFirst Online Tyre Shop receives TÜV (Technical Inspection Authority) certification s@fer-shopping
Hanover, 08.05.2003 www.reifendirekt.de, the German online shop of the leading European Internet tyre trader Delticom AG, is the first online tyre shop to receive the TÜV (Technical Inspection Authority) certification s@fer shopping. This was preceded by a comprehensive validation of various business processes - from an online website check to an extensive company assessment by representatives of TÜV Management Service GmbH, Group TÜV Süddeutschland. Andreas Prüfer, responsible for E-Commerce in the Delticom-management team said: "With this certification, we want to increase confidence, and convince customers, that expect the highest security standards when shopping online, that they will receive the highest possible measure of security and service available." Complete check from top to bottomThe TÜV certification is based on end customer needs. The aim is to guarantee customers transparency and security as far as possible. For example, the web shop user interface is tested regarding usability and clearness, or if the ordering process can handle a certain number of clicks adequately. Conclusion of the shop check: "Delticom has organised its Internet sales channel at reifendirekt.de in a professional manner. The search and selection menus are well designed. In addition, customers are provided with numerous service offers (e.g. document of compliance, area-wide service partner network) and further information (e.g. tips, test results)", explained TÜV auditor Rainer Seidlitz. The security of personal data during ordering and payment is checked very closely. "We only award the label if the highest standards regarding quality and security are met", explained Seidlitz in more detail. Delticom's online shop was thoroughly checked from top to bottom: from validating the online offers to checking the order processing. For example, items checked included product descriptions, security and handling of customer data. Legal regulations being only the basis, the TÜV requirements are much more demanding and exceed these by far."We sell our tyres at fair prices.
