Delticom sells 1 million tyres

Hanover, 28.05.2001. Delticom has achieved a breakthrough: Since having been founded in July 1999, the Hanover-based tyre dealer has sold one million tyres. "Sales included all tyre types, sizes and brands" added Rainer Binder (43), the Managing Director responsible for wholesale. The company has developed from a three person enterprise to a so-called full sortiment dealer with 21 employees. "Except for bicycle tyres, we deliver nearly all types of vehicle tyres in all quantities, brands and price categories."

The 1,000,000 tyre sales consist of orders from both business units: the wholesale business and the online tyre shop. "Due to our exclusive brands, such as the Star Performer, a high-speed tyre manufactured in Europe, we now have representatives in nearly all parts of the word", Dr. Andreas Pruefer, the Managing Director for e-commerce explained.

Due to international contacts and world-wide procurement, Delticom offers its tyres to end customers at prices up to 25 percent lower than competitors.
